THE INSPIRATION
There is an emotional interplay between materiality, scale and our environment. People need forms, objects and textures they can relate to. The textile art of Maeve Pacheco seeks to forge those connections with the observer.
TEXTURAL AESTHETICS
Fiber art can play an important role in our visual and mental perception of space. Interiors often need light filtration and acoustic separation to create an inviting atmosphere. Textiles impart intimacy and character by using bright and colored surfaces contrasted with tactile materials and visual cadence.
